This website, when up and running, shall be a forum for the written word. It shall be the home of stories, ideas and debates on writing, discussions on authors, and if I can get my head round it, and work out how to do it, a series of tools, exercises and games for character discovery. However I spread myself ever thinner, so don't expect too much! I'm only subhuman you know!

I am Simon Scott, a budding writer (NYP) living in Canterbury, UK. Currently mismanaging a mapping department while working on stories, plays and anything else that takes my fancy. I tend to be jovial in person and miserable in writing, but having said that I did do a global happy ending the other day.

Guys I like: Will Self, Jeff Noon, Gaiman and McKean, Old Bull, Kurt Vonnegut jr, writer-writers.
Things that innaress me: media control, distorted and misrepresented reality, bullshit, allegory, the line that you step over when someone goes "Urgh", individuality (a socially created illusion).
Currently: Reading Visions of Cody, Listening to Fin de Siecle by The Divine Comedy, sitting here writing this, cutting up my stories.
